Family Support

The Under One Roof project was planned with the direct input of community parents. While all project activities support families, additional opportunities include:
- A Monthly Parent Support Group facilitated by two parents who completed the UNH Institute on Disability's "New Hampshire Parent Leadership Training"
- The Family Center Parent-Child Connections Program and The Grapevine Better Beginnings Program for children ages birth to 5 years and their caregivers
- Speakers on special interest topics such as financial planning and benefits, guardianship and trusts, home of your own, a vision for full participation, etc.
- Parent Leadership Training through the Institute on Disability/UNH.
- Community-based parent leadership education
- A Parent Advisory Committee of the Under One Roof Project that identifies other family needs and opportunities, and works to develop community resources.
- Participation in the People's Service Exchange, a local Time Dollars Project.
